This is in exceptionally clean condition for being nearly 90 years old with nearly zero wear on the felts. This double felt model was first shown in the 1935 catalog when they added a thumb screw for pressure control allowing drummers to adjust the amount of muffling on their drumhead. This upgraded chrome version has the original patent number on the end of the hoop clamp and 1930s Ludwig script logo. Both felts are in excellent condition.
